Client entity

KLx is a subsidiary of Crédit Agricole SA based in Lisbon. It offers study and development activities for Group entities.

With around 300 resources working for 6 Group entities, the subsidiary is growing strongly. The goal (in 2021) is to double the number of resources within 2 years and to increase the client portfolio.

Statement of requirements

KLx did not yet have an intranet, but only shared directories that were not used or rarely used, as well as shared folders on a historical sharepoint whose access is limited and whose tree structure is not very user friendly.

Communication and access to key documentation was mainly done by email, often relying on managers as a relay.

The creation of an intranet was aimed at streamlining access to KLx’s key information and documentation and improving communication.

L’autre objectif était aussi de doter l’équipe communication d’outils pour s’adresser aux ressources, partager l’actualité (newsletters), créer un environnement plus participatif et être le lieu de référence pour toutes les informations sur KLx pour les ressources internes et externes.

Implemented solution

The expressed need including the 2 quite conventional constraints time and budget have guided the solution by offering KLx the delivery of an intranet based on our standard WAVE model.

Unlike other more comprehensive proposals, including a UX/UI phase and advanced customization in terms of graphical interface, the standard WAVE model is a functional intranet with all the functionalities useful for an efficient communication and deliverable in a very short time.

At the margin, some customizations were made to “charter” the site in the colors of the entity in addition to support to help managers administer their new environment.
