Crédit Agricole Assurances (CAA), the leading national insurer, has set up PETRA, the Transverse Insurance Exchange Portal. This intranet site is available to all Credit Agricole Group insurers.

Statement of requirements

Credit Agricole Assurances has called on Digiteam to carry out this project. The old Intranet site Predica, was affected by aging ergonomics and was no longer adapted to current codes. This new intranet space, PETRA, allows the Group’s insurers to have simplified access to the documents and information of the Personal Protection/Insurance and Personal Retirement Savings plans.

Implemented Solution

PETRA was realized with the Wave offer. The Digiteam supported CAA throughout this long-term project since almost 2 years passed between the first exchanges and the exit of the site in September 2023. This new intranet site enhances the user experience with optimized navigation and more intuitive user paths that were co-built during the UX/UI workshops in the preparation phase.

The difficulties were numerous: PETRA is the gathering of two existing sites. In addition, the intranet is used, in addition to the CAA teams, by all the Regional Banks to retrieve all the official documentation concerning the insurance activity. In fact, the old sites and therefore PETRA is very compartmentalized in terms of authorizations and had to remain so for reasons of sensitive data.

It was also an opportunity to sort and clean up all the content on the site so as to no longer keep items that were no longer useful.
