Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank (CA CIB) is the corporate and investment bank of the Crédit Agricole Group.

Statement of requirements

CACIB has a large number of financing, domiciliation and risk-taking contracts signed. Before, everything was signed in paper, which was very time-consuming. They therefore expressed the need to automate their signature process.

These various contracts and documents are issued by CACIB and signed by the Regional Banks (CR).

Implemented solution

To meet this need, several solutions have been introduced corresponding to their objectives:

Move to electronic signature: to dematerialize the signature process and increase efficiency and speed, the Docusign electronic signature solution was adopted.

Automate signatures: Templates have been added to simplify and automate the signature workflow between different signatories because the documents are similar.

Automating GOL: To automate the storage of metadata-classified online documents (GOL), CACIB has started using Docusign Connect, a tool for receiving all events in a document. By combining 2 tools (Docusign API and Docusign Connect), the process of signing and storing documents is now automated.
